This page lists out all articles created on Create Your Websites.
This is a directory listing out every article that has been published to the website which provide helpful tips not only teaching you how to create a website, but also different tips and tricks to use once your website is up and running.
After launching this website and submitting it to be indexed by Google and Bing, the first thing I decided to do was submit a link to CreateYourWebsites.com to as many free website directories as possible in an effort to gain more backlinks. This required that I carry out a search for the best website directories that would serve my purpose.
If you’re like me you’ve got a million ideas floating around in your head and don’t want to stop at creating only one website; but rather, you’re interested in creating many websites. This article was put together to show you how to add additional domains to your Bluehost account. These additional domains are called Addon Domains, and Bluehost offers an unlimited amount for all accounts except for the Starter and Basic plans.
April, 27th 2016, I was happy with the work I’d done on my website and decided it was finally time to unveil it to the public. I shared a link with all my friends and family, posted on social media and was getting an overwhelming amount of positive feedback; I was on top of the world. The very next day I checked my Google Analytics account and was amazed to see that my website had received 109 page views on its very first day. The next day brought in 25 new page views, followed by 14 and then on April 30th, my page views were down to 0. That’s right, not even a single person had viewed my website. Reality sank in and I quickly realized that with so many websites already out there it was not going to be easy to get noticed.
Once you’ve gotten your website up and running you may notice that there are certain aspects missing that you’d like to add to your website that you may not have the skill-set to create. To be successful, your website should have excellent writing, graphics, a logo, and a unique clean design that attracts and pulls in potential viewers. For all of these services you can use a web designer or web design service if you’re unable to do any of these yourself, but for those without a large budget there is a less expensive alternative; and that is using the resources found on a gig-to-hire website like Fiverr. I’m specifically calling out Fiverr because it was the first website like this that I’ve personally used, but I also put together a list of Fiverr alternatives that I’ve since used and wanted to share.
In today’s world there are more websites scattered throughout the Internet then ever before. This website is dedicated to teaching individuals how to easily create their own websites by following the step-by-step guide outlined on the homepage of Create Your Websites, however, if they actually want viewers to come to their website there they can’t simply be done once their website is created. Just because you created an awesome website, does not mean that people will automatically start to flock to it. If you want people to visit your website, you need to find ways of marketing it in order to attract additional viewers.
Backlinks are an important part of online marketing. This involves an incoming hyperlink from one web page that directs to another web page. The more backlinks you have pointing to your website, the more popular it is generally considered. This doesn’t necessarily mean it’s quantity over quality, however. When you have backlinks that come from highly reputable websites, it’s going to help you rank higher within the search engines.
Have you ever typed in the URL address for a website and hit enter just to find yourself watching the loading wheel continue to spin while the actual page won’t load? Well, at that point what did you do? My guess is you probably gave it another 2-3 seconds and if the page still didn’t load you closed out and moved on to a new site. Site performance is mainly overlooked by people building websites for the first time, but this one thing has the potential to be the difference between a website that fails and one that is successful. The faster your site loads; the better your chances of success will be.
